The Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL) is a collection of job titles that have been selected by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations as being very high in demand in Australia.
This approach has since been phased out and replaced by the similar Australian Skill Occupation List, which can be found here. While engineers and those in the medical field take up much of the list, there are many different kinds of occupations desired. The list is based on advice from the Australian Workforce Productivity Agency and reflects the country's commitment to have a diverse amount of necessary skills brought in.
